Accessibility Statement

Effective: 8 September 2026  ·  Last reviewed: 8 September 2026

In plain terms: this site should work with a keyboard, a screen reader, magnification, and a browser set to reduce motion. If any part of it does not work for you, email us and we will fix it and give you the information another way in the meantime.

1. Our commitment

Amanorn Solutions wants everyone to be able to read this site and get in touch with us, regardless of ability or the technology they use. Accessibility is treated as part of building the site, not as a feature added at the end.

2. The standard we aim for

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. This statement describes how the site currently measures against that goal, including where it falls short.

3. What we have done

  • Keyboard access. Every link, button, form field and dialog can be reached and operated with a keyboard alone. A “Skip to main content” link is the first thing in the tab order on every page.
  • Visible focus. Whatever has keyboard focus is outlined clearly, and the outline meets the contrast requirement against every background it appears on.
  • Colour contrast. All body and interface text has been measured against its actual background. Every combination in use meets or exceeds the 4.5:1 Level AA requirement, and most exceed the 7:1 Level AAA threshold.
  • Text alternatives. Every meaningful image has descriptive alternative text; decorative graphics are hidden from assistive technology so they are not announced as noise.
  • Headings and landmarks. Pages use a single h1 and a heading order that does not skip levels, with header, navigation, main and footer landmarks so a screen reader user can jump between regions.
  • Forms. Every field has a visible, permanently associated label. Errors are announced, described in words next to the field they belong to, and never signalled by colour alone. Focus moves to the first field that needs attention.
  • Dialogs. The full-frame preview is a proper modal dialog: focus moves into it, stays inside it while it is open, Escape closes it, and focus returns to the control that opened it.
  • Reduced motion. If your system asks for reduced motion, the opening animation, scroll animations and smooth scrolling are all switched off.
  • Zoom and reflow. Text is sized in relative units and the layout reflows down to a 320 pixel viewport without a horizontal scrollbar. Wide tables scroll inside their own container instead of pushing the page sideways.
  • Language. Every page declares its language so screen readers pronounce it correctly.
  • Works without JavaScript. All content and the contact form remain usable if scripts do not run.

4. Known limitations

We would rather tell you about these than let you find them:

  • Third-party previews. The Work section can load a live preview of a client's website inside a frame. We do not control that site's code, and we cannot guarantee its accessibility. The frames in the cards are removed from the tab order deliberately, so a keyboard user is not trapped inside content they cannot navigate; the client's site is reachable through a normal link that opens it directly.
  • Small monospaced labels. Some category labels and tags are set in a small monospaced typeface. They meet contrast requirements, but they are small; browser zoom enlarges them along with everything else.
  • Decorative animation. The opening animation plays once per visit on the homepage unless reduced motion is requested. It cannot currently be dismissed early by keyboard, though it clears itself within a few seconds and never blocks the content behind it.

We are working on these. If one of them is a real obstacle for you, tell us and it moves up the list.

5. How this was assessed

This statement is based on a self-assessment carried out on 8 September 2026, combining a manual review of the markup, keyboard-only testing, and arithmetic verification of every text and interface colour pair against its actual background. It has not been audited by an independent third party, and a self-assessment is not a formal conformance claim.

6. Tell us about a barrier

If something on this site is hard or impossible for you to use, we want to know. Email normansallah@amanornsolutions.com with “Accessibility” in the subject line, or call +1 437 679 6760.

Please tell us the page, what you were trying to do, and what happened. We aim to acknowledge within 2 business days and to tell you what we intend to do about it within 10 business days.

7. Getting information another way

If any part of this site is not accessible to you, contact us and we will provide the same information in a format that works for you — plain text, large print, over the phone, or another format on request — at no cost.

8. Ontario accessibility law

The Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and its Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation set web accessibility requirements that apply to organisations with 50 or more employees. Amanorn Solutions is smaller than that and so is not currently subject to the web content requirement. We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 AA regardless, because it is the right way to build, and we will continue to provide accessible formats and communication supports on request.
